I grew up in Espoo, Finland, but currenly live in Brussels, Belgium, where I work as a communications consultant for a development NGO. I am 38 years old, and active in the Green movement since 2001, where I currently act as a member of the party council of the Finnish Greens. Previous positions include that of spokesperson of the Finnish Federation of Green Youth and Students and secretary general of the Federation of Young European Greens, among others. I have been active in global and local movements for social justice for decades, and my current job has serves the purpose of stopping climate change, making our food production and our economic structures more just, and keeping corporations accountable in the field of human rights. These are all things I am committed to continue doing also in the Finnish parliament.
